
CIO Simon Leuty departs Trustmarque Group
YORK 31 March 2025 – Trustmarque Group today announced that its Chief Innovation Officer, Simon Leuty, will be stepping down from his role to launch an exciting new artificial intelligence venture. This move marks the next chapter in Leuty’s illustrious tech career, which has been characterised by groundbreaking technological advancements and entrepreneurial success, including his formation of Gartner Magic Quadrant certified Livingstone in 2010.
Following Trustmarque’s acquisition of Livingstone in early 2023, Simon Leuty transitioned from Founder and Chief Solution Architect, to Chief Innovation Officer. Prior to this, Leuty spearheaded numerous transformative initiatives that positioned Livingstone at the forefront of SAM consultancy. His leadership and vision in the early days of Livingstone were instrumental in developing intelligence platforms to help clients optimise their software and cloud portfolio to avoid unnecessary cost and risk.
Commenting on the news, Simon added:
“My 13 years at Livingstone, and two years at the Trustmarque Group have been immensely rewarding. I’m deeply appreciative of Simon William’s exceptional leadership and the teams I’ve had the honour to collaborate with. As I move forward with my new venture, I’m eager to leverage the knowledge and experiences to drive meaningful advancements in AI and contribute positively to society.”
Leuty’s new AI venture, yet to be named, aims to tackle some of the most pressing challenges in artificial intelligence, with a focus on ethical AI development and practical applications across various industries. He will officially depart the Trustmarque Group on 31 March 2025.
