Donavan Hutchinson awarded CRN’s Industry Achievement Award
At last week’s prestigious CRN Channel awards, Trustmarque’s Chief Revenue Officer, Donavan Hutchinson, was awarded the coveted accolade of the ‘Industry Achievement Award’. The Channel Awards turned 30 this year, and the industry celebrated in Battersea as CRN’s winners and highly commended finalists were finally revealed.
Chosen for tirelessly working to promote and champion LGBTQ+ causes within the channel and wider community, Donavan was also commended for ‘being one of the most positive and encouraging people in the channel you could wish to meet’.
The panel praised his daily LinkedIn posts for inspiring and educating people every day, adding that he is a force for good.
Speaking on the awards night, Donavan added:
“I am beyond words right now! The first time I didn’t attend the awards in all these years and to be honoured for the work I do is beyond anything I could ever imagine! The last 20+ years have been the most amazing experience in my life, to have the opportunity to meet so many incredible people across the globe and to be honoured for being the best version of myself means more to me than anything anyone will ever understand.
A special thank you to Hayley Roberts for collecting the award on my behalf, my dearest friend David Abbott for always being there and taking the video, my incredible husband and family but also CRN UK for giving me the platform and honorary award! Well done to all award winners this evening and so sad I couldn’t celebrate with you.”
Donavan has recently been recognised as one of the Top 10 Trailblazing Leaders Making an Impact in DEI for 2023 awarded by CIO Views Magazine.
His dedication to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace has not only transformed organisations but also inspired others to follow suit. Through his leadership, he has showcased the tangible benefits of embracing DEI as a core value.
Earlier this summer, we worked with our internal teams to showcase the progress and talent across Trustmarque, creating submissions for Public Sector VAR of the Year, and Reseller of the Year (£200m+). Both of these submissions made it to the final shortlist, but unfortunately were unsuccessful on the night.
