Two Trustmarque teams in the CRN Channel Awards

We are delighted to announce that two Trustmarque entries have reached the final of the CRN Channel awards 2024. 

Our nominations showcase the progress and talent across Trustmarque, bringing together phenomenal impact from our Public Sector division for the ‘Partner of the Year’ category, and celebrating the launch of Encircle (DEI initiative) within the ‘Best DEI initiative’ category. We are now pleased to confirm that both submissions have made it to the final round with the winner announced on the award night on Thursday 14 November.

Public Sector Partner of the Year: Trustmarque 

Trustmarque is a key Public Sector Partner and we deliver the value of technology to support citizen services and our communities. Our services have a lasting powerful impact, changing the way services work for the better, as Chris Jones explains:

As an example of our work in society, our ground-breaking work hit the headlines as the ‘world’s first’ IVF research dashboard using 33 years of UK data, across 665,000 NHS and private patients.  In partnership with the regulator Human Fertility and Embryology Authority (HFEA), we launched a new national data platform for IVF results, demystifying some of the IVF complexities and to support couples in their journey of becoming parents.

Our focus for Public Sector is on improving services across the UK: 

• Scotland: Our work delivers digital solutions, reliable data & robust technology for Local Authorities, Police Services, the NHS and other Central Departments across Scotland
• Wales: We are the Microsoft Partner for Digital Health and Care Wales providing technology solutions that supports Healthcare across the Country
• England: Working with 80% of NHS Trusts, major Police Forces, Councils across all of England and Westminster to provide the value of technology
• Northern Ireland: Delivering technology solutions across Northern Ireland focusing on operational efficiencies, maximising technology investments and delivering sustainable solutions. 

We are incredibly proud that our impact on UK society has been recognised through this CRN nomination. 

Best DE&I Project/Initiative of The Year: Encircle at Trustmarque

This year we have committed to fostering a culture of inclusion. Supported by Chief People Officer, Marsha Waugh-Lewis and Chief Operating Officer, Stuart Daley, and Co-Chaired by Viv Williamson and Giorgia Litwin, the Group’s first DEI committee, Encircle was born in February 2024. 

Made for colleagues, by colleagues, Encircle is a platform to embrace our differences while recognising the strength that they bring to our organisation.

Encircle is a voluntary activity that Trustmarque colleagues take up alongside their day-to-day activities. In the last 6 months alone we have increased understanding around Mental Health Awareness week, York Pride sponsorship, International Women’s Day, sharing how to support colleagues observing Ramadan as well as launching enhanced menopause and life changes policies.

The committee comprises of colleagues from all teams, and is underpinned by an active community on Viva Engage.

Encircle in numbers:

• 12 core committee members, from policy, events and communications
• 250 colleagues attended the launch event session
• 220 active members on Viva Engage, with 80 interactions on International Women’s Day
• Nearly 150 pledges during Trustmarque Fusion
• 30 students signed up for Women in Tech panel discussion with Camden Council

About the awards

The CRN Channel Awards are the oldest and most prestigious awards in the UK IT channel. Now in their 31st year, the award categories are constantly being tweaked and modified to reflect the changing dynamics of the channel.
