Trustmarque climbs into top 10 of UK’s Value Add Reseller 2023 list
Channel Reseller News (CRN) this week announced Trustmarque’s first entry into the Value Add Reseller (VAR) list for the first time.
The financial fortunes of the UK’s top 100 resellers and MSPs rebounded in their latest years on record, CRN Top VARs 2023 indicates. We are delighted to have made the top 10 in this year’s list, and we are looking forward to what can be achieved this financial year as we go from strength to strength.
In an interview with CRN, Ben Richardson, Chief Executive Officer at Trustmarque, commented: “I am thrilled that we made the top 10 in this year’s VAR 100 list.
“Since our acquisition by One Equity Partners, we’ve moved to a world where the question is ‘why not?’, not ‘why?’. We have a well-known owner who believes in investment in the business to ensure it grows. We’re in a buy-and-grow strategy, so we are currently investing inside the business – in our technical practices and our service delivery – as well as looking at external acquisitions to complement what we’re trying to do.”
Doug Woodburn, Head of Channel Research at CRN UK, went on to write about how Trustmarque’s significant growth more than doubled during the six-year ownership by Capita. Doug also added that Trustmarque’s invoiced revenues climbed 39% to £461.4m in calendar 2021 as Capita prepared Trustmarque ahead of the deal (business transfers made included trade for the final quarter of the year of a networks and testing business). Our strong UK public software sales also contributed to the significant growth.
This news comes as this month, Trustmarque acquired software asset management consultancy Livingstone. For Trustmarque, this transaction is the first step in an ambitious growth strategy to accelerate the consolidation of mid-market IT services in the UK. The partnership with Livingstone complements and strengthens Trustmarque’s existing capabilities in SAM, cloud and licensing, offering superior returns on technology investment for its blue-chip customer base.
