DTA21: Supporting public sector innovation
An update regarding Microsoft and DTA21 for the public sector from Trustmarque.
You may remember back in 2021, Microsoft and the UK government agreed on public sector organisations benefiting from select Microsoft products and services, bringing together discount programmes for Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform cloud services.
What has changed?
Trustmarque is now pleased to confirm that Crown Commercial Services and Microsoft have agreed an extension to the Memorandum of Understanding DTA21 to until October 31 2024.
How does this impact you?
This means that now, Trustmarque customers can benefit from improved commercial terms across several Microsoft products. The DTA21 extension continues to recognise the strategic relationship between His Majesty’s Government and Microsoft.
What products are eligible?
The agreement brings together discount programmes for Microsoft 365, Azure, and for the first time – Dynamics 365 and Power Platform cloud services.
We look forward to continuing to work with our public sector customers to improve citizen services and provide cost-effective solutions now and in the future.

Further details:
- DTA21 will be extended for a 6- month period to 31 Oct 2024.
- For the avoidance of doubt, this means that all of the discounts and terms in DTA21 will apply to all Eligible Customers for new and renewing enrolments with an effective date on or before 31 October 2024.
- Discounts will only be applicable to 3- year enrolments commenced or renewed with effective dates prior to 31 Oct 2024
- Eligibility remains unchanged.
