Trustmarque’s Heather Perriam highly commended CRN Innovator of the Year
We are delighted to announce that Trustmarque’s Power Platform Consultant, Heather Perriam has been highly commended at the Women in Tech Excellence Awards 2023.
Heather’s career in technology began after being made redundant from a retail position in 2007. By sticking to her guns, Heather overcame bias to secure her first technical job in one of the USA’s biggest telecoms providers. Heather has always had a passion for helping people get the most out of technology and used to build websites for small businesses. Fast forward over 15 years and she now creates high-quality solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including developing Power Apps applications and custom Power Automate flows at Trustmarque.
At an awards ceremony on Thursday 23 November, Heather’s success and dedication to Microsoft technologies were recognised by her commendation in the Innovator of the Year category. On hearing the news, Heather commented:
“I am deeply grateful and humbled by this recognition. As an immigrant and a neurodivergent individual, this accolade is not just a personal milestone but a symbol of what diverse perspectives can achieve in technology. At Trustmarque, we celebrate this diversity and strive for inclusive innovation. My hope is to inspire women from all walks of life, embracing our unique strengths, to boldly navigate and shape the future of technology.”
As Power Platform Consultant on the Business Applications team, Heather works with clients to help them maximise the power of their O365 licenses with customised solutions to streamline their day-to-day functions. Heather makes recommendations based on user stories/client requirements, and works closely with our internal and external client team partners to produce a solution that meets the client’s needs. Heather is passionate about creating apps, learning new things, and working with a team that is always looking for more efficient ways of producing a result.
Trustmarque Chief Delivery Officer, Wesley Worland, added:
“We are so proud of Heather and this recognition is well-deserved. She is a shining example of what can be achieved when boundaries are broken, she is setting the standard for Microsoft innovation at Trustmarque. Talented women like Heather are core to our success and I hope this paves the way for others to join an inclusive workspace where everyone feels valued and respected.”
Congratulations to Heather, we are all so proud of you!
