Trustmarque brings cutting-edge cyber security to the Scottish public sector.

York, UK – 14 August 2023:  Trustmarque announces its entry into a multi-supplier framework for National Cyber Security Centre-approved penetration testing framework. After competing against other established cyber security leaders in this area, Trustmarque was awarded the first position. Judged rigorously by the framework evaluation board, Trustmarque earned the highest grade during the scoring process taking the pole position.

Only available within Scotland, the framework also known as C002021, is accessible to all 22 NHS Scotland health boards with a term of three years. It is hoped that this development will allow Trustmarque to work even more closely with Scottish health organisations, further cementing our relationships north of the border.

The work has been spearheaded by Lilia Clarke, Healthcare Client Manager at Trustmarque who has forged relationships across the public sector in the region.

Following the announcement Lilia Clarke added:

“Through sheer determination and hard work, I am proud to have achieved this status for Trustmarque and to strengthen our reach in Scotland. I am excited at the prospect of working with even more people and teams in the region to deliver the value of technology for the national health service. Cyber security is just the tip of the iceberg, together with our customers and partners we can make a positive impact in Scotland.”

Chris Gregory, Head of Sales for Security Testing at Trustmarque, explains:

“I am delighted to announce this win for Trustmarque, as we take the top spot on the penetration testing framework. We can now look ahead and see further collaboration opportunities across Scotland to deliver value. The news will allow us to bring cutting-edge cyber security solutions to a new audience, plus open conversations around other areas of digital transformation. Congratulations to Lilia Clarke for her tenacity and unwavering hard work in this space.”

The news comes after we announced in January 2022 that our penetration testing solutions became available on the PDS Cyber Security Penetration Testing Framework, allowing Trustmarque to support law enforcement across the UK with their cyber security posture.

Earlier this year Rob Brown, Senior Penetration Tester at Trustmarque, was presented with a CREST fellowship (FCREST) at CRESTCon Europe. Rob is a core member of the Penetration Testing team and was awarded the fellowship after achieving three consecutive passes during his CTL exams.
