Trustmarque’s Aaron Prior elected to the techUK Central Government Council

Trustmarque is pleased to announce that Aaron Prior, Head of Bid & Government Affairs Lead, has been elected to the techUK Central Government Council. This prestigious appointment recognises Aaron’s extensive experience and expertise in government affairs and policy creation. The council represents technology suppliers who supply to Government, lead the debate on new technologies, optimise the use of existing capabilities and engage with departments.
Commenting on the news, Aaron Prior, Head of Bid & Government Affairs Lead at Trustmarque said:

Aaron brings 25 years of experience to the Council, with a proven track record in shaping crucial legislation and driving digital transformation in the public sector. His election to the techUK Central Government Council further positions Trustmarque at the forefront of industry-government engagement. As a Council member, Aaron’s three key priorities will be:
- Aligning the tech sector with new government missions
- Advocating for greater augmentation and optimisation of public services to drive value for the public purse
- Raising the profile of neurodiversity within the tech sector and leveraging diverse viewpoints for success
Aaron’s background includes co-authoring the Equality Act 2006 and 2010, and Public Sector Equality Duty, which have led to significant societal changes in the UK. His passion for equality, diversity, and inclusion is further demonstrated through his work as a lecturer on ASD and hidden disabilities.
