Single order Generic Ethernet Access (SoGEA)
Business broadband without the installation of a phone line? SoGEA enables a standalone fibre broadband line, which operates on fibre and copper cables. SoGEA is a broadband service that meets the BT Openreach PTSN switch-off in 2025 head on.
Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC)
FTTC connection uses fibre cables to transmit data from your broadband provider’s exchange to the Openreach street cabinet then to your business via a copper cable. It dramatically increases your speeds as the distance the data travels over copper wires is reduced. A phone line is required for this service (PSTN).
Fibre to the Premise (FTTP)
This is a full fibre infrastructure service that removes the need for a phone line. It’s a fibre connection from your broadband provider’s exchange direct to your business. The broadband speed you buy is the bandwidth you receive.
ADSL 2+
A slower broadband service delivered over copper cables. It can only achieve speeds of up to 34mbps download and up to 8mbps upload. ADSL2 and ADSL2+ provide higher speeds than the original ADSL broadband technology. ADSL2+ uses twice as much bandwidth along copper wires as ADSL2 does.
Ethernet access service
High speed ethernet bandwidth that is fully scalable and reliable. You will have your own dedicated (uncontended) connection ethernet connection to deliver fast, premium-quality voice calls and internet access. You’ll also be protected with service level agreements covering performance, availability, and time to resolve faults.
