More on Penetration Testing
Penetration testing, also known as ethical hacking, involves testing an organisation’s computer systems both on the internet and internally to discover security vulnerabilities before they can be exploited by an attacker, and provide guidance on their remediation. This is achieved by emulating an attacker, in order to discover the risks presented by the systems and evaluate the impact of successful exploitation of these issues.
