Pennine Cares Hero

Trustmarque sponsors the Pennine Care Awards 2023

7 December 2023 Time to read:  minutes

As part of our partnership with Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, this year we are sponsoring the ‘Community Choice’ category in their annual community awards.

Through our successful partnership, we have supported Pennine Care with modernising their software and hardware requirements and the adoption of PowerApps across the Trust. Building on this partnership, we are proud to sponsor the Pennine Care People Awards for a second year. The awards recognise and support Pennine Care NHS colleagues working in mental health, learning disability and autism services across Greater Manchester. Competition was fierce in our sponsored category, ‘community choice’ award:

Community choice finalists

Voted by patients, carers and the public:

  • Kristian Glenny, clinical psychologist
  • Natalie Bentham, care co-ordinator, Rochdale community mental health team
  • Pennine Care TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) service

Congratulations to everyone who was nominated. With just over 400 fantastic nominations, there were some tough calls to make for our judges – but we’re pleased to announce that the community choice winner 2023 is:

Natalie Bentham, care co-ordinator, Rochdale community mental health team

In an awards ceremony in Manchester, we presented the Community Choice award, which recognises a fantastic team or individual who makes a difference. Natalie has been recognised for seeing beyond the disabilities of her patients, and always striving for the best. Natalie is a worthy winner for this category and is someonewho goes gone above and beyond to make sure patient services are the best they can be, always treating everyone with kindness and respect.

Congratulations to Natalie on behalf of everyone at Trustmarque!

Trustmarque’s Chief Executive Officer, Simon Williams commented on the news:

“Congratulations to Natalie Bentham for her commitment to excellent patient care and her compassion for her patients. I am humbled by the remarkable achievements and exceptional work taking place across Pennine Care NHS Trust. The unsung heroes that get up every day, determined to make a positive difference to those in their care are inspirational.”
