York, UK – 18 August 2023: We are delighted to announce that we have seven finalist entries between five Trustmarque employees in the Women in Tech Excellence Awards 2023.

These awards are important as they recognise top-performing women from across the technology space and provide inspiration for younger women looking to build a career in our industry. In a year when Trustmarque’s focus on DEI has gained significant momentum, we are pleased to confirm that we have a strong representation during this year’s awards.

According to CRN, standards every single year continue to improve with 1500 nominations for 2023, so it is a huge achievement to be shortlisted.

It is therefore with great pleasure to share that all these individuals have made it to the final shortlist:

Hero of the Year
Zoe Dronfield, Healthcare Client Director
Katherine Murphy, Head of Marketing, Communications and Brand

Innovator of the Year
Heather Perriam, Power Platform Consultant

Role Model of the Year
Zoe Dronfield, Healthcare Client Director
Leigh-Anne Whittingham, NHS Client Director

Security Professional of the Year
Louise Gill, Principal Penetration Tester

Transformation Leader of the Year
Katherine Murphy, Head of Marketing, Communications and Brand

Trustmarque’s newly appointed Chief People Officer, Marsha Waugh Lewis said the announcement was truly inspiring. She commented:

“This is fantastic news during my first week at Trustmarque and I want to offer a huge thanks to our five finalists who have shown unwavering determination and commitment to their roles. We know the IT sector has a long way to go to support the women IT leaders of the future. By encouraging women across Trustmarque to step into the light and promote themselves during these awards, we can hopefully empower more people to shout about their achievements. I hope the ripple effect of these awards and our own DEI initiatives attract a more diverse, engaged and inspired workforce to Trustmarque.”

All winning candidates will be announced at a live awards ceremony on Thursday 23 November at Magazine London in North Greenwich.
